Part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive part‑time House Manager and Family Assistant to support a busy household of six in Beavercreek, Ohio. The role blends daily home organization, meal planning, and family logistics to keep the home running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily household resets: dishes, surfaces, vacuuming, trash removal, and tidying before the bi‑weekly cleaner arrives.
• Maintain and improve organization systems (bins, labels, kids’ room layouts) and conduct monthly deep‑clean walk‑throughs.
• Plan, shop for, and prepare 3‑4 balanced family meals per week, including school lunches and breakfast stocking.
• Fully manage children’s laundry, treat stains, and ensure linens are sorted and placed for the cleaning crew.
• Maintain inventory of pantry, fridge, toiletries and handle errands such as returns, donations, and gift shopping.
• Coordinate family appointments, monitor school communications, and keep the household calendar up‑to‑date.
• Serve as point of contact for cleaners, contractors, and vendors; obtain quotes and oversee repairs.
• Support seasonal home transitions, vehicle upkeep, and occasional backup childcare using the family vehicle.
