Part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant

About the role

We are a close‑knit family of three seeking a reliable part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant to keep our home organized, welcoming, and running smoothly. You will work flexible daytime hours, set your own consistent schedule, and become a trusted partner in daily household operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve household organization systems, perform daily resets of common areas, and prepare the home for bi‑weekly cleaning services.
• Manage inventory, run grocery errands, coordinate donations, and keep pantry, bar, and snack areas fully stocked.
• Handle laundry, linens, and keep the laundry area tidy.
• Lead special projects such as closet builds, seasonal gear organization, and event hosting support.
• Prepare simple crock‑pot meals, process produce, and keep the kitchen clean.
• Provide pet care, schedule veterinary visits, and maintain pet supplies.
• Oversee vehicle fueling, maintenance scheduling, and basic interior cleaning.
• Act as point of contact for vendors, coordinate home‑maintenance calendar, and manage landscaping projects.
• Support family calendar, schedule appointments, assist with travel logistics, and track expense receipts.

Required profile

• Self‑starter who notices needs and acts without prompting.
• Proactive, creative, and organized with a knack for improving systems.
• Comfortable working independently and communicating schedule changes clearly.
• Emotionally intelligent, respectful of personal spaces, and able to balance presence with privacy.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 40 lb.
• Authorized to work in the United States and comfortable with a smoke‑free, pet‑friendly home.
