Part‑time English Tutor – Marietta Campus & Online

About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a part‑time English Tutor to support students at the Marietta Academic Success Center and via online sessions. You will work under the Director of Academic Success, providing one‑on‑one and small‑group instruction both in person and through Microsoft Teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver English tutoring sessions to enrolled students on campus and remotely.
• Prepare and adapt instructional materials to meet individual learner needs.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with the Academic Success team to align tutoring with curriculum goals.
• Adhere to normal business hours and campus policies.

Required profile

• Associate degree in English or a closely related field (Bachelor preferred).
• Prior experience as a tutor or teacher.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for virtual tutoring sessions.
