Partner Support Team Lead

About the role

The Partner Support Team Lead at Check is responsible for both hands‑on partner support and people leadership. You will work directly with payroll platform partners to resolve complex issues while developing a high‑performing support team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct support to partners, managing tickets, answering inquiries, and investigating payroll, tax, and technical problems.
• Own complex escalations, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and drive issues to resolution with urgency and accuracy.
• Prioritize queue health, balance volume, SLAs, and quality, and ensure urgent matters are addressed promptly.
• Coach teammates through ambiguous problems, building their investigative and problem‑solving skills.
• Identify recurring issues and workflow gaps, propose improvements, and help implement them.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a client‑ or partner‑facing role supporting technical products.
• 3+ years working at a payroll provider, fintech, or HR‑technology company.
• Experience leading, coaching, or developing a customer‑facing support or operations team.
• Strong judgment handling complex escalations and ambiguous situations.

Required skills

• Zendesk (preferred ticketing system).
• Experience with ticketing or case‑management systems.
