Part-Time/PRN Pharmacist – Outpatient Pharmacy (Provo, UT)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated, customer‑service‑oriented Licensed Pharmacist to join our high‑volume outpatient pharmacy team in Provo, Utah. This part‑time/PRN position provides coverage during weekdays and weekends, offering flexibility and the chance to work in a dynamic clinic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and non‑prescription medications safely and accurately, complying with state and federal regulations.
• Provide medication counseling and product recommendations to patients.
• Manage inventory, place orders, and support pharmacy initiatives to drive growth.
• Maintain controlled‑substance records and submit data to the Controlled Substance Database.
• Perform bulk compounding and packaging for nursing homes or extended‑care facilities.
• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, delegating tasks as needed.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including facility security.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (R.Ph.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited program.
• At least 3 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
• Current, unrestricted Utah pharmacist license.
• Flexible schedule with availability for weekday and Saturday shifts.

Required skills

• Basic compounding.
• Experience with PioneerRX pharmacy management software.
