Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer (Patrol Driver Escort)

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time unarmed security officer in Fairless Hills, PA. The role involves routine patrols and a visible presence at a technology, media and telecommunications location, with a focus on customer service and communication. The schedule is Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and candidates can use the company's shift platform to build their own schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and delivery personnel by carrying out security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, perimeter and other assigned areas to spot unusual activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, direct guests and report access concerns to site contacts or leadership.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, medical situations and critical events, following escalation and notification procedures.
• Prepare daily activity reports, incident reports and patrol documentation and share observations with the right people.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license, current and not expired, provided as a copy during the application; required for driving positions only.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
