Part-Time Teller – Mattapan, MA

About the role

Join Santander’s Mattapan branch as a part‑time teller and become the first point of contact for customers. You will deliver fast, accurate banking services while supporting the branch’s commitment to exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, minimize wait times and address their banking needs.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and maintain an accurate cash drawer.
• Adhere to all compliance, risk‑management and fraud‑prevention policies.
• Identify cross‑sell opportunities and refer customers to appropriate products.
• Educate customers on digital self‑service tools.
• Assist with custodial duties, audits and other operational tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support nearby branches when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 6 months cash‑handling experience.
• Minimum 6 months customer‑service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work flexible branch hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Effective communication and listening skills.
