Part-Time Security Officer, Reception Operations Coordinator

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, offers a part-time Security Officer Enhanced position in Lithia Springs, GA, combining security duties with reception operations in a healthcare location. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site, with the option to pick up extra shifts through a claim-a-shift program. Pay is $14.27 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff and vendors by following security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities.
• Serve as a professional front desk presence: greet and direct visitors, maintain visitor records and communicate access requirements.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, cameras, alarms and communications equipment, and report unusual activity or equipment issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents and visitor concerns, notifying site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain daily activity logs, incident reports and other required documentation.

Required profile

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Valid driver's license required only for driving positions.
• Background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment; licensing may be required depending on state or local law.
