Part-Time Security Officer / Access Control Administrator

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a part-time Security Officer / Access Control Administrator in Hatfield, PA. The officer serves and safeguards clients across a range of industries, helping maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying authorized access, documenting activity and providing professional customer service. The schedule is flexible, with day shifts on Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM to midnight.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access
• Document activity and provide professional customer service
• Carry out security procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and solve problems
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Required profile

• At least one year of verifiable, relevant security experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift more than 20 pounds
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Age 21 or older; proof of age required during application
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required depending on state and local law
