Part-Time Safe Ride Support

About the role

The Safe Ride Support position provides part‑time assistance during night‑shift hours to ensure safe transportation for University of Arkansas students and staff. This temporary, fixed‑term role is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student workers and graduate assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to safe‑ride requests throughout the night shift.
• Coordinate with campus transit services to dispatch vehicles and track rides.
• Verify rider identification and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of ride activity and report any incidents.
• Provide courteous assistance and address rider concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (student employee, graduate assistant, or staff).
• Eligibility to work night‑shift hours.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑service mindset.
