About the role
Ensemble Music Schools is looking for an experienced piano instructor to provide in‑person lessons at students’ homes in the West LA area. The role is part‑time and offers flexible scheduling within the school’s open hours.
Key responsibilities
- Teach piano (and optionally other instruments such as voice, guitar, bass, or ukulele) to students aged 4 and older.
- Travel up to 15 miles to students’ residences and maintain consistent lesson times.
Required profile
- Degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
Required skills
- Strong music background and ability to teach multiple instruments.
- Excellent punctuality and professionalism.
What we offer
- Hourly pay of $35‑$50 based on experience, plus IRS mileage reimbursement.
