About the role
The School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University seeks part‑time lecturers to teach undergraduate and graduate courses using an active‑learning approach. Classes are scheduled between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality instruction in criminal justice, criminology, and related subjects.
- Prepare students for professional and research careers by applying multidisciplinary social‑science methods.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related social‑science discipline.
- Juris Doctor (JD) required for all law courses.
Required skills
- Demonstrated teaching ability in Criminal Law, Security, Policing, Violence, Victimology, Research Methods, or Forensic Science.
- Commitment to high‑quality instruction at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
