Part-Time Household Manager – Organization & Family Meal Prep

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Part‑Time Household Manager to keep our active family home organized, running smoothly, and well‑cared for. You will create systems, handle daily tasks, and support the family’s dynamic schedule, both on‑site and remotely when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement household organization systems from scratch.
• Perform daily resets: tidy surfaces, dishes, light vacuuming.
• Prepare the home for bi‑weekly housekeeper visits and seasonal changes.
• Manage pantry, refrigerator, and supply inventories; place recurring orders.
• Develop weekly meal plans, shop for groceries, and cook health‑focused meals up to three times per week.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and establish consistent routines.
• Provide pet care: feeding, walks, grooming appointments, and occasional overnight oversight.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance, track registrations and insurance.
• Maintain the family calendar, school forms, travel logistics, and event coordination.
• Oversee vendors such as HVAC, pest control, and contractors, and coordinate repair quotes.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented individual who anticipates needs and offers thoughtful solutions.
• Strong project‑management mindset with ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and consistent check‑ins with the family.
• Comfortable working in a smoke‑free, pet‑friendly home and possessing a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation and authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Docs.
• Experience using Slack or similar collaboration tools.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $25–$30 based on experience.
