Part-time Household Manager & Family Assistant with Meal Prep Support

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, part‑time Household Manager and Family Assistant to support our busy household in West Hartford. The role combines daily home organization, meal planning and preparation, laundry care, pet care, and light administrative support for two physician parents and their young children.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain household organization systems, daily resets, and prepare the home for cleaning services.
• Manage laundry for the entire family, including bedding and children’s items.
• Plan, prep, and cook 3‑4 dinners per week and prepare workday lunches for one parent.
• Handle grocery deliveries, maintain inventory, and run occasional errands.
• Walk the family dog daily and monitor pet supplies.
• Perform deep‑cleaning projects, organize toy areas, pantry, and laundry space.
• Serve as on‑site contact for vendors and assist with scheduling repairs.
• Support family calendar, schedule appointments, and track household expenses.
