Part-Time Household Manager & Family Assistant

About the role

We are a busy family of four in Sandusky, Ohio, seeking a reliable part‑time Household Manager and Family Assistant to support daily home operations, meal preparation, pet care, and occasional child‑related tasks. The role offers a flexible schedule of 10‑15 hours per week with the possibility to add hours as needs evolve.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and store fresh produce, batch‑cook meals for children and adults, and assist with dinner prep.
• Manage laundry, linens, and stain‑treatment, especially during sports seasons.
• Maintain household organization: tidy surfaces, handle dishes, sweep/vacuum high‑traffic areas, and support weekly cleaners.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping, supply restocking, and handling deliveries.
• Provide pet care for two dogs and a senior cat, including feeding, litter maintenance, and medication administration.
• Assist with light afternoon child support, backpack prep, and occasional date‑night childcare.

Required profile

• Proactive, detail‑oriented individual who notices tasks without being asked.
• Comfortable communicating promptly via text and building rapport with children, adults, and pets.
• Ability to follow and improve household systems while respecting strict dietary guidelines.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.

Required skills
