Part-Time House Manager with Child Care Support

About the role

We are a busy, high‑functioning family of three relocating to Edina. We need a proactive house manager who can provide child‑care support, keep our home organized, and help our middle‑school daughter thrive.

Key responsibilities

• School drop‑off and pick‑up, transport to activities, and occasional outings.
• Light after‑school oversight such as homework checks, snack prep, and bag preparation.
• Household organization including daily tidying, dishwashing, surface cleaning, vacuuming high‑traffic areas, and fridge management.
• Inventory management, grocery shopping, and handling household orders and returns.
• Meal support: prep produce, prepare 2‑3 dinners per week and batch‑cook breakfasts for the daughter.
• Laundry cycle, pet care for the French bulldog, and coordination of vendor appointments for both Edina and Michigan properties.

Required profile

• Proactive, initiative‑driven with strong two‑way communication.
• Warm and relatable with tweens, able to provide guidance and oversight.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple moving pieces without losing footing.
• Committed to a long‑term role and comfortable with occasional flexible hours.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

What we offer

• Hourly pay $33‑$38, based on experience.
• Monthly gas/mileage stipend.
• Part‑time schedule: 25 hours/week, Monday‑Friday 1 pm‑6 pm with occasional flexibility.
