Part-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Support)

About the role

We are a busy, warm family of five seeking a part‑time house manager and family assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. The role focuses on meal planning, household organization, and occasional family support, with flexible mornings preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and batch‑cook healthy meals, wash and chop produce, and pack school lunches.
• Shop for groceries, maintain pantry inventory, and keep the kitchen tidy after prep.
• Organize household systems, perform daily resets, light tidying, and seasonal clothing swaps.
• Handle laundry, linen rotation, and keep the laundry area stocked.
• Run errands such as restocking supplies, handling returns, and managing subscription orders.
• Perform occasional deep cleans, garage/mudroom refreshes, and assist with home projects.
• Walk dogs, schedule vet/grooming appointments, and maintain pet supplies.
• Support vehicle upkeep, schedule maintenance, and track registration/insurance.
• Provide occasional light childcare, drop‑offs, date‑night coverage, and house‑sitting during travel.
• Assist with calendar coordination, event planning, and simple administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Proactive, self‑directed, and able to anticipate household needs.
• Warm, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy and property.
• Reliable transportation and ability to maintain a smoke‑free environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable working with children and dogs; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
