Part-Time House Manager (Ashland, OR)

About the role

The family in Ashland, OR is looking for a part‑time House Manager to keep their home running smoothly. The role covers 15‑20 hours per week, focusing on household organization, pet care, meal preparation, errands and light maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Shop for groceries, restock pantry and manage household supply lists.
• Prepare simple lunches, dinners and baby purees, and clean the kitchen after cooking.
• Maintain household organization systems, perform daily resets, light tidying and prepare the home for weekly cleaning.
• Handle deep‑cleaning tasks such as fridge, oven and baseboards, and maintain indoor plants.
• Care for a variety of pets (cats, dogs, chickens, snake, spider, hamster), including feeding, litter cleaning and coordinating veterinary appointments.
• Assist with laundry, linen rotation and keep the laundry room tidy.
• Schedule vehicle maintenance and transport pets as needed.
• Provide personal‑assistant support such as scheduling appointments.

Required profile

• Love animals and be comfortable caring for cats, dogs, chickens and exotic pets.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb, navigate 13 stairs regularly and hold a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Maintain a smoke‑free, substance‑free and fragrance‑free environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States; CPR/first‑aid certification is a plus.
• Independent, punctual, detail‑oriented and able to work without constant supervision.
• Comfortable around babies and children and aligned with a clean, organic lifestyle.
