Part-Time Guest Services Agent – Front Desk

About the role

The Guest Services Agent supports the front desk and guest services at Hyatt Regency Deerfield, ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience from arrival to departure. This part‑time position involves direct interaction with guests and coordination with hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with check‑in and check‑out, handling cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Enter and retrieve guest information using the hotel’s computer system, confirming room rates and guest details.
• Communicate guest requests, special needs, and amenities to appropriate departments.
• Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and respond to telephone inquiries.
• Document guest complaints or issues promptly and follow up to ensure resolution.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Previous front desk experience, preferably within the Hyatt brand.
• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with moderately complex computer reservation systems.
• Cash handling and credit‑card transaction processing.
• General knowledge of local attractions and transportation.
• Attention to detail for security and confidentiality of guest information.
