Part-Time Family Assistant with Meal Prep Focus

About the role

We are looking for a reliable part‑time Family Assistant to support a busy household of five in Plymouth, MN. The role focuses on meal preparation, light childcare backup and keeping the home organized between professional cleanings.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and package four dinners per week, batch‑cook breakfast items and healthy snacks for the children.
• Provide occasional backup childcare, early dismissals and date‑night coverage.
• Reset key areas (kitchen, mudroom, living room) daily and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Manage laundry from wash to put‑away and rotate linens weekly.
• Handle grocery orders, run errands to Costco, Target and Walmart, and manage household inventory.
• Organize closets, pantry, garage and seasonal décor, and coordinate with monthly house cleaners.
• Maintain the family vehicle’s cleanliness and schedule routine maintenance.
• Support family scheduling via Google Calendar, coordinate appointments and assist with travel logistics.

Required profile

• Smoke‑free environment and ability to perform light physical tasks such as snow removal.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Previous childcare or nanny experience preferred.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of $25–$30.
