Part-Time Faculty – Doctor of Business Administration (GuidedPath)

About the role

Capella University seeks experienced scholars to join its GuidedPath program as part‑time faculty for the Doctor of Business Administration. You will deliver high‑quality instruction in asynchronous 10‑week courses, mentor doctoral learners, and support their academic success.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instruction using a pre‑designed curriculum and online learning platform.
• Mentor doctoral students, participate in doctoral committees, and give timely feedback on assignments.
• Be available within 48 hours (excluding weekends/holidays) via phone, email, and the courseroom.
• Travel within the United States to attend doctoral residencies.
• Establish evaluation standards, adhere to university policies, and attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training.
• Engage in additional university activities as needed.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in a related field (DHA, DBA, PhD, DM preferred) from a regionally accredited institution.
• Three years of teaching experience preferred; minimum two years professional experience for undergraduate level and three years for graduate level.
• Research, scholarship, or notable achievement in the discipline; experience overseeing doctoral research.
