Part-Time Dishwasher at Brewpub

About the role

Wicked Weed Brewing is looking for a part‑time dishwasher to join its back‑of‑house team at the Brewpub on Biltmore Avenue in Asheville. The role involves working quickly in a high‑volume environment, maintaining clean dishware, and supporting the kitchen staff during busy service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Set up the dish pit and ensure all cleaning chemicals are stocked and properly connected.
• Clean all dishes, glasses, and small wares efficiently.
• Perform additional cleaning tasks as needed throughout the kitchen and dining area.
• Assist with minor food preparation tasks when required.
• Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Executive Chef.

Required profile

• Ability to work quickly and efficiently for long periods in a fast‑paced, high‑volume setting.
• Reliable transportation and flexible availability, including late nights and early mornings.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 55 lb (occasionally up to 100 lb) safely.
• Comfort working in varying temperature conditions, including hot, humid, cold, and steamy environments.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a noisy kitchen environment.
