Part-Time Direct Support Professional (Night Shift)

About the role

Verland is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide individualized care for residents in a residential setting. This part‑time night‑shift position (11 pm – 7 am) offers an hourly wage of $19.25 and focuses on enhancing the daily lives of adults with complex physical, medical, and intellectual needs.

Key responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents while maintaining a safe, healthy environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment and recreational activities.
• Implement individualized care plans, record observations, and complete daily progress notes.
• Assist with meals, personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, and housekeeping tasks.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities using Verland vehicles.
• Administer medication as prescribed and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer clients without restriction.
• Pass background, physical, and drug screenings.
• No prior experience required; two weeks of paid training provided.
