Part-Time Didactic Nursing Faculty – Fundamentals & Patient Care

About the role

We are seeking a part-time didactic nursing faculty member to teach the Fundamentals: Skills and Fundamentals: Patient Care courses for our online BSN program. The instructor will act as facilitator, role model, coach and advisor, supporting diverse nursing students in a remote learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead asynchronous discussion boards and deliver weekly synchronous live lectures (morning and evening options).
• Provide timely feedback and support to students via email, online conferencing or telephone.
• Facilitate laboratory and simulation activities that develop basic nursing psychomotor skills, body mechanics, drug administration and vital‑sign assessment.
• Integrate Chamberlain Care philosophy into course content and assessments.
• Maintain course materials, grade assignments and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.

Required profile

• Current RN licensure and active RN license in the United States.
• Graduate degree in nursing (MSN, DNP or equivalent) preferred.
• Experience in clinical nursing and familiarity with fundamentals of nursing practice.
• Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners in an online environment.

Required skills

• Knowledge of fundamental nursing skills, body mechanics, positioning, mobility assistance, hygiene and comfort care.
• Understanding of drug administration principles, teaching‑learning methods and vital‑sign assessment.
