Training Specialist

About the role

Marathon TS is looking for a Training Specialist to support the CASTLE-NET program for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The role focuses on designing, delivering, and evaluating training for end‑users and IT personnel across the enterprise environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess user training requirements and identify knowledge gaps.
• Develop training materials, user guides, presentations, and job aids.
• Deliver instructor‑led and virtual training sessions.
• Support onboarding and end‑user training initiatives.
• Coordinate training schedules and logistics.
• Collect feedback and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Update training materials based on program changes and user feedback.
• Work with technical and operational teams to ensure training accuracy.
• Maintain training documentation and records.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in training, instructional design, adult learning, or workforce development.
• Strong presentation and facilitation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office.
• Virtual collaboration tools.
• ServiceNow (preferred).
• ITSM concepts (preferred).
