Part-Time Consultant Talent Acquisition Director

About the role

Travelzoo is looking for a part‑time Consultant Talent Acquisition Director to lead senior‑level hiring initiatives. Working 20 hours per week from our Midtown New York office, you will partner with HR and business leaders to build a diverse pipeline of high‑quality candidates for current and future needs.

Key responsibilities

• Source, engage and recruit passive candidates for director‑level and above positions, especially in finance, marketing and editorial functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define staffing plans and align talent strategy with company goals.
• Maintain recruitment operations, track metrics, and provide insights, trends and recommendations.
• Advise senior leaders on leadership pipeline, succession planning and talent management.
• Ensure a respectful and smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience as a Talent Acquisition Manager, Director or equivalent in a global digital media or membership organization.
• Proven success hiring passive, high‑calibre talent, preferably with agency experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust at all organizational levels.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑starter, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
