Connoisseur Media – East Texas is seeking a motivated part‑time Board Operator and On‑Air Personality to support La Invasora 96.7 (KOYE‑FM & KTLH‑FM) in Tyler. The role is ideal for someone who loves radio, enjoys behind‑the‑scenes work, and can thrive in a fast‑paced environment during nights and weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the on‑air console and audio controls for live and pre‑recorded programming.
• Monitor station transmitters and log any discrepancies accurately.
• Maintain studio equipment, logs, and ensure proper remote broadcast setups.
• Handle on‑air duties during breaks, including weekend and night slots.
• Post content to Facebook and Twitter as requested.
• Follow procedures for computer crashes or loss of broadcast signal.
• Communicate promptly with the Program Director about any broadcast issues.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Availability to work nights and weekends.
• Knowledge of FCC rules and regulations.
• Understanding of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) legal requirements.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels.
• Proficiency with radio automation systems.
