About the role

The State of Georgia is seeking a part‑time Adult Education ESL Instructor for its Marietta Campus. You will deliver English as a Second Language instruction to adult learners, helping them achieve language proficiency and integrate into the community.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver lessons aligned with English Language Proficiency Standards.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, listening, civics, workplace skills, and American culture.
Provide guidance, monitor attendance, and contact absentees.
Evaluate student progress using TABE Clas‑E tests and other assessments.
Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and a secure classroom environment.

Required profile

Experience teaching ESL to adult learners.
Ability to adapt materials for students with special needs.
Strong organizational and record‑keeping skills.
Commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.
