About the role
The Paramedic will deliver emergency and non‑emergency medical care and transportation to patients in the Cambridge and Metro Boston area, following all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to emergency calls and provide advanced life support on scene.
- Transport sick or injured individuals safely in Type III ambulances equipped with Stryker Power‑PRO stretchers.
- Document patient care and communicate with receiving medical facilities.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Current Massachusetts Paramedic certification.
Required skills
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
- FEMA IS‑100.C, IS‑200.C, IS‑700.B, and IS‑800.D training.
What we offer
- Starting pay $26‑$32 per hour, with $0.50 increase per year of experience and up to 5% annual performance raises.
- $50 per hour (minimum 4‑hour shift) for detail and teaching assignments.
