Paralegal Case Manager (Remote)

About the role

The Paralegal Case Manager is a core member of a personal‑injury legal team, providing day‑to‑day support to attorneys and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Working remotely on an EST schedule, you will help move cases forward efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings and assist with discovery under attorney supervision.
• Prepare and submit electronic court filings in line with procedural rules.
• Monitor court and case deadlines, alerting attorneys when action is required.
• Communicate regularly with supervising attorneys, insurance adjusters, defense counsel, and courts.
• Maintain accurate case notes, records, and documentation.
• Manage personal‑injury cases using FileVine and related legal systems.
• Request, track, and organize medical records and billing documentation.
• Provide trial preparation and support as needed.
• Act as the primary client liaison, delivering updates throughout the legal process.

Required profile

• Strong experience in personal‑injury case management.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and proactively flag needed actions.
• Detail‑oriented approach to documentation and data entry.
• Professional assertiveness balanced with collaboration.
• Reliable remote work setup with stable internet connection.

Required skills

• Proficiency with FileVine legal case‑management software.
• Experience with electronic court filing platforms.
