Outsystems Developer – Washington, DC

About the role

Infosys is seeking an Outsystems Developer to join its Financial Services unit in Washington, DC. The role is part of the Technology Consultant 2 career track and focuses on delivering low‑code applications that support banking, wealth management and insurance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Document and refine business requirements during the elicitation phase.
• Lead design discussions, capture decisions and guide the technical team.
• Develop, test and integrate new features into existing Outsystems applications while ensuring system stability.
• Perform code reviews, manage code repositories and apply changes as needed.
• Define and execute test strategies, analyse results and coordinate bug‑fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation and support frameworks for smooth roll‑outs.
• Resolve production incidents and propose preventive measures to improve reliability.
• Maintain comprehensive records of code, testing techniques and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to delivery.
• Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on quality and reliability.

Required skills

• Outsystems low‑code development platform.
• Experience with React JS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript for UI and markup.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server databases.
