Outbound Sales Development Representative

About the role

Sanity.io is seeking an Outbound Sales Development Representative to drive new business opportunities in the United States. You will be the first point of contact for prospects, building a qualified pipeline through cold outreach and strategic engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Initiate conversations with potential customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn, qualifying leads to maintain a high‑quality pipeline.
• Develop deep product knowledge of Sanity’s “content to data” platform and articulate its value to technical and business stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and with sales to ensure smooth handovers of opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn to track activities, manage follow‑ups, and keep data clean.
• Contribute to the SDR playbook by sharing insights, market intelligence, and process improvements.

Required profile

• Based in the United States and motivated by meeting quota.
• Experience in a Sales Development or SaaS sales role, preferably with technical products or developer tooling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and comfortable in a fast‑moving environment.
