Order Management Specialist

About the role

The Order Management Specialist manages ad hoc customer requests and owns the end-to-end order management process, from order capture through fulfillment, delivery confirmation and post-delivery support. The role coordinates internally across supply chain, inventory, logistics and billing teams so that orders are processed accurately and delivered on time. The position is regular, with no relocation, travel or visa sponsorship required.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the timely, accurate and compliant processing of sales orders for wholesalers, distributors, retail chains, hospitals and physician offices
• Keep customers informed about their orders and communicate daily with them, including by phone, with local business partners and BSC functional teams
• Coordinate with channel development and supply chain on messaging, reports and follow-up, and coordinate trade activity for month, quarter and year-end
• Update SOPs and WI's, including SOX controls; check and release credit/debit notes and resolve claims and issues
• Enter and generate sales orders, returns and non-return credit notes in the system, and analyse new orders from ad hoc requests
• Anticipate client needs, provide audit documentation and apply internal compliance policies
• Develop reporting for Supply Chain, Channel Development, Finance and other stakeholders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain or Finance
• At least 2 years of experience in a finance or supply chain department of a multinational company is desired
• Order management experience is desired
• English speaking and writing, and Spanish written and spoken

Required skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills
• Advanced PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP is an advantage
