ORAT Manager

About the role

SkyCity is looking for an ORAT Manager to lead the operational readiness, activation and transition (ORAT) activities for the U.S. Virgin Islands Airport Redevelopment Project. Reporting to the CEO, you will ensure a seamless shift of all airport operation and maintenance functions from existing terminals to new facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational planning, gap analysis and implementation of improvements for both interim and final terminal phases.
• Oversee subcontractor ramp‑up, compliance with contractual and regulatory standards.
• Develop and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) aligned with project goals.
• Manage budgeting, program planning and implementation oversight.
• Coordinate stakeholder relations with airlines, tenants, agencies and other airport partners.
• Identify and drive process‑improvement opportunities and best‑practice adoption.
• Ensure Day 1 readiness and support future enhancements for terminal configurations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Airport Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in airport/aviation management and complex project oversight.
• Proven expertise in ORAT, terminal operations and operational planning.
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion in leadership.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with project management tools.
