Operator, Formulation (Day Shift)

About the role

Lilly is expanding its manufacturing capabilities at a new state‑of‑the‑art campus in Concord, North Carolina. Operators play a key role in producing life‑changing injectable medicines by operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting advanced manufacturing equipment in a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot automated manufacturing equipment for injectable medicines.
• Follow GMP‑regulated procedures, maintain electronic batch records, and ensure compliance with cleanroom (Grade C, ISO 8) requirements.
• Support production activities, mentor team members (for senior/lead roles), and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work 6 am‑6 pm on a 2‑2‑3 schedule, wear required safety equipment, and pass vision and fitness‑for‑duty exams.
• Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to cleanroom gowning procedures.

Required skills

• Experience operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment.
• Knowledge of GMP/CGMP regulated environments.
• Proficiency with electronic batch records, manufacturing software, MS Office, and SAP.
