Operations Specialist – Physician & APP Leadership Development

About the role

The Operations Specialist – Physician/APP Leadership Development and Wellbeing will drive operational excellence within a large US healthcare organization, supporting strategic initiatives that enhance provider leadership, engagement and organizational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational initiatives and cross‑functional project teams aligned with organizational priorities.
• Oversee delivery of complex programs, managing timelines, budgets, risks and requirements.
• Manage ongoing programs that support leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
• Partner with executive sponsors and key stakeholders to align initiatives with strategic goals.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources and budgets.
• Communicate operational updates and drive clear communication across initiatives.
• Support process improvement, quality improvement and cost‑optimization efforts.
• Provide regular reporting on project progress, challenges and outcomes to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, operations management or process improvement.
• Proven experience leading strategic initiatives in a healthcare environment (preferred).
• Strong analytical thinking, communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage complex projects from planning through completion.
