Operations Specialist – Forward Deployed Engineering

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Specialist to join the Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team at Saronic Technologies. In this role you will ensure that field demos, internal sprints and customer deployments are executed flawlessly, allowing engineers to focus on high‑impact technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage project schedules, deliverables and cross‑functional milestones for FDE initiatives.
• Define, document and track technical requirements and system capabilities.
• Coordinate design reviews, capture decisions and align them with product roadmaps.
• Track budgets, vendor contracts and spend, ensuring alignment with plans.
• Monitor risks, resource constraints and execution dependencies across projects.
• Maintain accurate Bill of Materials, procurement timelines and component delivery schedules.
• Drive the day‑to‑day operational rhythm, logistics and coordination for field operations, demos, tests and deployments.
• Provide centralized visibility through dashboards and regular reporting on deliverables and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
• Support scaling of the FDE team internationally and assist with hiring and onboarding.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in operations, project coordination or engineering program management, preferably in robotics, aerospace, defense or a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets and component delivery in hardware‑software environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a focus on precision and clarity.
