Operations Project Manager

About the role

Moog Medical Devices Group is seeking an Operations Project Manager to coordinate cross‑functional projects that meet customer commitments on time, quality, and business requirements. The role works onsite or hybrid in Salt Lake City and reports to the Site Director.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑functional project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables, translating customer requirements into internal timelines.
• Coordinate activities across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Service to ensure tasks are completed in the correct sequence.
• Identify and manage project risks, constraints, and schedule delays, establishing mitigation and recovery plans.
• Facilitate project kickoff, regular reviews, and status meetings, escalating issues to leadership when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum five years of technical project management experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical device manufacturing.
• Formal project management training or certification such as PMP.

Required skills

• Project scheduling tools: Sciforma, MS Project, JIRA.
• Data‑driven decision making using project metrics to identify schedule risk.
• Experience coordinating projects across Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Service.
