Operations Manager, Trading & Regulatory Compliance

About the role

The Operations Manager, Trading & Regulatory Compliance at tastyfx is the operational backbone that connects our trading platforms with regulatory obligations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will ensure platform stability, manage incident response, and oversee all NFA/CFTC reporting within a fast‑moving, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily health checks on MT5, TradingView, ProRealTime and the proprietary tastyfx platform.
• Review overnight incidents, assess impact, and coordinate escalation with IG Group dealing and pricing teams.
• Act as first responder for execution anomalies, stale pricing, order server issues and platform outages.
• Process trade corrections, cash adjustments and account‑level remediations for affected customers.
• Investigate trade disputes and produce documented resolutions for internal and regulator review.
• Monitor margin calls, identify systemic issues and trigger escalations as needed.
• Support the MT4‑to‑MT5 migration, tracking account progress and flagging client‑impacting problems.
• Maintain runbooks, escalation procedures and service‑level agreements for incident handling.
• Draft NFA incident reports, regulatory correspondence and root‑cause analyses.
• Conduct nightly reviews of NFA Discrepancy and Processing reports, resolving any flagged errors.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor with experience in brokerage operations or regulatory compliance.
• Willingness to obtain Series 3 and Series 34 licenses if not already held.
• Comfortable handling live trading platform incidents and producing detailed regulatory analyses.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external regulators.
