Operations Manager – Las Vegas

About the role

Maersk Warehousing and Distribution USA LLC is seeking an Operations Manager to lead its Las Vegas facility. The role oversees end‑to‑end warehousing, distribution, and product development activities, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on‑time delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input to product strategy and research new product opportunities.
• Establish production and quality‑control standards, develop budgets and cost controls, and track product specifications and delivery dates.
• Guide the creation of manufacturing process plans, including staffing, material, subcontractor, facility, tooling, and equipment requirements.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with internal functions and external suppliers to optimize resource utilization.
• Review production and operating reports, resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues to minimize costs and delays.
• Perform administrative duties related to shop operations, including data compilation for reporting.
• Determine responsibilities for staff to achieve business objectives and ensure compliance with company, government, and customer policies.
• Supervise up to five subordinate supervisors and over 50 employees across Special Projects, Shipping & Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory, and Auditing departments.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing operations in a warehousing or distribution environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee multiple supervisors and large employee teams.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce production, quality, and cost standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for operational and maintenance challenges.
• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and supply‑chain coordination.
