Operations Manager – Distribution Center (Groveport, OH)

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the performance of its third‑party logistics (3PL) partner at the Groveport distribution center. You will own the performance management framework, drive operational excellence, and align 3PL execution with broader distribution and logistics objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and evolve operational KPIs and performance dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly performance reports, troubleshooting data flow issues.
• Lead daily on‑site accountability, identify performance gaps, and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with Levi’s Distribution & Logistics, Tech, Transportation, Inventory Control, Finance, and Commercial teams to ensure seamless operational alignment.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using data analysis, root‑cause methodology, and industry best practices.
• Ensure the 3PL maintains effective staffing, training programs, and operational processes.
• Oversee compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Act as analytical lead on distribution projects such as new program launches and system implementations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of logistics, distribution, transportation, or supply‑chain experience in the apparel industry.
• Proven ability to guide performance in a matrixed or outsourced environment.
• Strong relationship‑management and collaboration skills.
• Commercial mindset with understanding of business priorities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, PowerBI, Tableau.
• Hands‑on experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
• Strong expertise in KPI management and operational metrics.
