Operations Manager – Distribution Center (3PL)

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the distribution‑center activities performed by its third‑party logistics (3PL) partner in Groveport, Ohio. The role owns the performance‑management framework and drives the 3PL to exceed KPIs for order accuracy, on‑time shipment, inventory integrity, productivity, safety and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and evolve operational KPIs and performance dashboards for international stakeholders.
• Prepare and analyse weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Participate in daily operations calls, building strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Troubleshoot data‑flow failures to ensure accurate reporting and system integrity.
• Lead issue‑resolution for data flows between the DC and Levi’s.
• Partner with Distribution & Logistics, Tech, Transportation, Inventory Control, Finance and Commercial teams to align data and operations.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using data analysis, root‑cause methodology and industry best practices.
• Ensure the 3PL maintains effective staffing, training, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of logistics, distribution, transportation or supply‑chain experience in the apparel industry.
• Proven ability to guide performance in a matrixed or outsourced environment.
• Strong relationship‑management and collaboration skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication in English (Spanish a plus).

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Excel, SQL, Power BI and Tableau.
• Hands‑on experience with WMS, TMS and ERP systems.
• Expertise in KPI management and operational metrics.
