Operations Management Trainee

About the role

Avis Budget is recruiting an Operations Management Trainee in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The role sits in a structured, hands-on program that rotates through key operational areas such as Sales, Logistics and Customer Service. After an eight-week training period, the trainee moves into a supervisory role overseeing daily operations and sales functions, with mentorship to grow from Operations Manager to Area Vice President.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise one or more daily operations and sales functions after the eight-week training.
• Maximise fleet, revenue and customer satisfaction and manage employees.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a bachelor's or associate's degree, or an associate's degree plus at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership ability, teamwork and willingness to make independent decisions.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays, and outdoors in moderate noise.
• Regular on-site presence required; the position cannot be done remotely.
• One year of high-quality customer service experience preferred.
