Operations Management Trainee

About the role

Avis Budget is recruiting an Operations Management Trainee in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The programme is a structured, hands-on path that takes you through rotations in Sales, Logistics and Customer Service, then leads to a supervisory role overseeing daily operations and sales functions. Mentors guide you from Operations Manager to Area Vice President in a Fortune 500 company.

Key responsibilities

• After the eight-week training, supervise one or more daily operations and sales functions to maximise fleet, revenue, customer satisfaction and employee management.
• Work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and lead teams.
• Provide high-quality customer service (one year of experience preferred).

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a bachelor's or associate's degree, or an associate's degree plus at least two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership, teamwork and ability to make independent decisions.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, overnight, weekends and holidays, and outdoors in moderate noise.
• Regular on-site presence required; the role cannot be done remotely.
