About the role

Global Engineering Services (GES) North America Operations Engineering is seeking an innovative Operations Engineer to diagnose, solve, and scale systemic challenges in first‑ and middle‑mile logistics. You will work on high‑visibility projects that improve sortation, distribution, and transportation systems across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate development of optimal sortation and transportation solutions through process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver cost‑effective solutions on tight timelines.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while influencing, negotiating, and communicating with business partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Monitor and innovate cost‑effective solutions for automated material handling, packaging technologies, and robotics.
• Travel 50‑70% regionally and work from a corporate office when not on‑site.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex engineering problems.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous environment and deliver results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Willingness to relocate or live within commuting distance of the office.
