Operations Coordinator

About the role

Flag Star Football is looking for an Operations Coordinator to oversee daily league operations and drive improvements in systems, workflows, and overall efficiency. This hybrid role is based in the Washington, D.C. area and sits at the crossroads of operations, logistics, and coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for headquarters communications, managing the main email inbox and phone line.
• Support team formation, roster management, and league scheduling.
• Coordinate league logistics, anticipate scheduling challenges, and maintain competitive balance.
• Manage procurement and inventory of jerseys, wearables, and field equipment.
• Identify and implement process improvements, reducing manual work and increasing scalability.

Required profile

• Highly organized and detail‑oriented with a strong ability to multitask.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment.
• Proactive problem‑solver who enjoys optimizing workflows.
• Open to learning and applying new tools and technologies, including AI solutions.
