OpenText ECM Consultant – Plano, TX

About the role

Infosys is looking for an OpenText ECM Consultant to join its Digital Experience (DX) unit in Plano, Texas. The consultant will work on enterprise content management projects, leveraging OpenText Documentum and related technologies to deliver integrated, customer‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and document functional and non‑functional business requirements through workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Design high‑level and detailed software solutions, create prototypes and incorporate feedback.
• Develop complex applications, define coding standards and ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.
• Define and execute comprehensive testing strategies covering functional and performance criteria.
• Lead technical implementation of system infrastructure and new software deployments, managing schedules and minimizing disruptions.
• Coordinate system roll‑outs, monitor incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and establish preventive measures.
• Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams, fostering collaborative project execution.
• Maintain knowledge bases and documentation to ensure information accessibility.

Required profile

• Proven experience in enterprise content management, preferably with OpenText Documentum.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Experience leading implementation projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and knowledge transfer.
