OpenSource Security Engineer

About the role

Infosys is looking for an OpenSource Security Engineer to join its Financial Services unit. The role is based in Hartford, CT and will support digital transformation projects for banking, wealth management and insurance clients. You will work as an Engineering Consultant 2, focusing on security, cloud and platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit and document business and technical requirements and translate them into actionable specifications.
• Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts and develop design sketches using engineering tools.
• Iterate through engineering design cycles, refine prototypes and incorporate testing feedback.
• Develop and validate solution specifications, including simulations, to ensure compliance with design criteria.
• Undertake technical integration, resolve interoperability issues and ensure system functionality.
• Build and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and facilitate knowledge‑sharing sessions.
