Onsite Technician – Hiring Event on Aug 22, 2026

About the role

Bosch Group is hosting an in‑person hiring event on August 22, 2026 at its Charleston plant for Production Technicians. Candidates will join a team that builds state‑of‑the‑art automotive components and supports a global network of nearly 400,000 associates.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, process, and repair or replace defective parts such as gears, clutches, bushings, shafts, bearings, solenoids, valves, pumps, and direction controls.
• Monitor operations, reduce scrap and rework, audit parts, and adjust setups to maintain quality production.
• Analyze equipment problems, perform repairs, or initiate corrective actions when issues exceed personal scope.
• Apply continuous‑improvement (CIP) concepts to improve quality and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Instruct associates on proper use and care of machines, tools, and measuring instruments.
• Control parts flow, monitor production quantities, and follow plant safety and environmental policies.
• Perform line and machine changeovers and maintain an organized workspace.

Required profile

• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs on a variety of components.
• Strong attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.
• Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and pursue technical training for personal growth.
• Effective communication to instruct and collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers.
