Office & Facilities Manager for Fab Lab

About the role

Ready is seeking a hands‑on Office & Facilities Manager to run the day‑to‑day operations of its Fab Lab in San Carlos, CA. You will ensure the space is safe, organized, stocked and ready for the team to create and innovate.

Key responsibilities

• Own daily facility operations: cleaning, safety, supplies, mail, deliveries and workspace setup for new hires.
• Manage vendors, contractors, landlords and building services including cleaning, maintenance, security and landscaping.
• Lead facility projects from quote gathering to installation, overseeing improvements such as access control, signage and storage solutions.
• Track facility expenses and produce monthly cost reports.
• Administer workplace safety programs, Cal/OSHA documentation, inspections and equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate inventory, purchasing and logistics for office, safety and Fab Lab consumables.
• Support events, demos and visitor logistics, handling catering, AV, room setup and access.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in office management, facilities, operations or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage vendors, contractors and physical workplace operations.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and proactive problem‑solver.
• Strong communication skills and comfortable working with executives, engineers and external partners.
• Willingness to work onsite five days a week and lift/move items up to 25 lb.
